The device's built-in microphone captures the sound of the person who needs to be heard and sends a loop signal to the wearer of hearing aids. The distance between the speaker and hearing aid wearer must be less than one meter (three feet). A confidence light on the front of the device will let the user know the system is working. An indicator that their speech is being conveyed will be visible to the speaker.
