Returns Policy

A. Products bought in the Resource Centre

If you wish to return a product because you have changed your mind about your purchase, Chime will offer you a refund provided that:
  • You return the item within 28 days of purchase
  • You produce your original Chime receipt at the time you return the item
  • The item is in re-saleable condition including
  • It is in its original packaging, including instruction manuals and all accessories
  • It is unworn, unopened, unused and in its original condition
  • Any sew-in labels are still attached
  • In the case of CDs and DVDs, the original security seal or shrink wrap is intact
If these requirements are not satisfied, Chime reserves the right not to offer a refund for change of mind returns.

B. Products bought over the telephone or online

If you have bought your product over the telephone or online, you can cancel your purchase at any time, either before or up to 14 days after delivery, by returning the product to one of our Resource Centres. Please bring your receipt with you and the card you paid with, so that it can be credited to your account. Chime will offer you a refund provided that:

You return the item within 14 days of purchase;
  • You produce your original Chime receipt at the time you return the item
  • The item is in re-saleable condition including
  • It is in its original packaging, including instruction manuals and all accessories
  • It is unworn, unopened, unused and in its original condition
  • Any sew-in labels are still attached
  • In the case of CDs and DVDs, the original security seal or shrink wrap is intact
  • Any free gifts received with the product must also be returned
If these requirements are not satisfied, Chime reserves the right not to offer a refund. You will receive a full refund and the cancellation is free of charge provided you return the product to one of our Resource Centres. If you choose another method of return, for example by post, you will incur the cost of the postage.

Other Returns

Chime will accept product returns and provide you with an exchange, refund or repair where:
  • The product is faulty or is not of merchantable quality
  • The product is not fit for its intended purpose
  • The product does not match the sample or our description
  • Chime may elect to return the product to the manufacturer's repair agent to determine the nature of the problem.
  • Chime reserves the right not to offer an exchange, refund or repair where the fault is a result of fair wear and tear, wilful damage, negligence, failure to follow the manufacturer’s instructions, misuse and alteration of the product.
