The Geemarc Amplipower 40 telephone, in our opinion, is a significant advance over the previously excellent CL200+ that it replaces. It has excellent amplification, especially with the boost button, and the hands-free speakerphone capability is a helpful and popular feature. Tone control is also useful for persons who have hearing loss.
The Amplipower 40 is a high-end model with exceptional performance and some useful features for deaf individuals.
To assist those who have a severe hearing loss, Geemarc developed the Amplipower 40. The large, high-contrast buttons are helpful for people who have poor vision or limited dexterity. A common feature is the hands-free speakerphone, particularly for people who prefer not to use their hearing aids when speaking on the phone.
All hearing aids that have a telecoil facility can be used with the Amplipower, which has an inductive T coil in the handset (as with all our amplified corded telephones).
