The LA240 Loop System is a practical solution for hearing aid users who want to listen to their TV or audio equipment more easily by using the "T" or "Loop" programme on their hearing aid.
Because there is no direct connection between the user and a TV or audio equipment, the user is free to roam around the looping area while listening to a TV or audio equipment without the distractions associated with ordinary listening.

The Loop System works with a hearing aid that has a "T" or "Loop" programme, which may be found on many 'behind the ear' or 'in the ear hearing aids.

The Loop system delivers sound from tv to an amplifier via a direct connection or a microphone. The sound is then transmitted inductively, via "magnetic sound waves," to a hearing aid with a loop function through a wire loop wrapped around the listening area.

The user can then alter the loop loudness or tone to fit their personal hearing preferences without harming others.

The Loop System comes with either Loop Cable or Loop Pad.

A loop wire is wrapped around a room that you want to listen in on. The sound can be heard anywhere inside the "looped" area and sometimes just outside the loop as well.

A Loop Pad is an alternative to a loop cable that is used to build a localized or portable system to avoid interference with other systems or where confidentiality is essential.
